I'm a coach. Cricket has given me a lot and it's my time to give back to the game," he added.The former Pakistani bowling all-rounder is currently serving as the bowling coach for the ILT20 team Desert Vipers, which qualified for the league final with its win over Gujarat Giants on Wednesday.It is worth mentioning here that due to political tensions between Pakistan and India, Pakistani players are not allowed to take part in the IPL, while Indian players do not play in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).Players from Pakistan only participated in the inaugural edition of the IPL in 2008. Mahmood, along with 11 other national cricketers, have played in the IPL.Apart from Mahmood, Shoaib Akhtar, Umar Gul, Salman Butt, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Asif, Sohail Tanvir, Kamran Akmal, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, and Shahid Afridi took part in the Indian league.
